The Jardin des plantes de Rouen, an Eden of flowers. Located on the south bank of Rouen, less than 10 minutes drive from your hotel, this botanical garden covers more than 19 acres. Very popular with walkers and joggers, it is also a place for experimentation and scientific conservation as the garden is home to many plant species from around the world. As the seasons go by, you will stroll through irises, wisteria, roses, etc. Several greenhouses also form part of the park. They display tropical flowers, carnivorous plants or Mediterranean utility plants. If you like birds, the few aviaries scattered throughout the garden will enchant you. Parrots and parakeets with colorful plumage twirl alongside golden pheasants and Chinese quail. Since 2013, a honey garden has been created. It aims to help local bees produce honey by providing them with plants they love, such as rosemary and mint. In order not to disturb the worker bees, this area is not accessible to visitors. However, you can observe it from the park and understand the role of this place through explanatory panels at the entrance.

Located in the heart of Rouen, the Musée des Beaux-Arts houses a remarkable collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and objets d'art, dating from the 15th century to the present day. The collection is one of the most prestigious in France, with great names such as Perugino, Veronese, Rubens, Vouet, Géricault and Degas. It was created in 1790 with the aim of building up a national collection. The collection has grown steadily over the years, thanks to donations (such as the Baderou donation of nearly 400 paintings and 5,000 drawings in 1975) or purchases (including a Caravaggio in 1955). The tour offers an opportunity to explore the history of art through some major themes such as the Renaissance, the French Grand Siècle, Baroque Europe or Romanticism.
